WordPress comes with five default post types, which are posts, pages, attachments, revisions and menus. You can also create your own custom post types. Sometimes you may need to switch post type, you can do that by following these simple steps below.

Switch Post Type:

  1.  Install and activate Post Type Switcher plugin. Read our guide on how to install WordPress plugin.
  2. Edit the post you want to change type for.
  3. Select your desired post type under Publish meta box.
  4. Click Publish button to update the post.
